Repetitive production bugs ate time on constantly re-applying fixes. We built a loop where one agent writes a fix, a second independently checks it, and a deterministic gate decides the merge - safe ones go in by themselves, risky ones wait for a human.
Wyzwanie
Autonomous bug fixing had to be fast yet hallucination-proof and safe at merge time.
Repetitive production bugs
Small failures (API changes, the scraper) come back and eat time on re-applying fixes.
Hallucination risk
An agent could write a fix to pass its own faulty test - objective proof is needed.
Merge safety
Not every fix can go in by itself - risky ones must reach a human.
Only code-fixable issues
Some failures are external blocks - the agent should not turn them into noise.
Nasze rozwiązanie
The loop runs from a failure event to a deterministic merge decision.
Trigger from diagnosis
A failure on the application side sends an event with a diagnosis and a bug fingerprint.
Fix agent
The first agent writes a regression test and a minimal fix, then opens a PR.
Verify agent
A second, independent agent checks: the test is red on the old code, green on the new one.
Deterministic gate
A rule, not an agent, decides: low-risk plus green CI plus proof = auto-merge, the rest go to a human.
